Mail-order silhouettes

Email a photo taken of the subject's right side. It needs to be a 100% profile in order to get an accurate silhouette. Send the photos in JPEG format and label them using your last name and a number for each.
Take separate photos of each person, against as plain a background as possible. Try to eliminate dark shadows behind the subject if you can. Please mention silhouettes in the subject line of your email.

Prices start at $30. for a bust type silhouette. Full body silhouettes
and full size busts are also available. When you order the original, you
will see other offerings, such as extra copies, mats or frames.
I use only archival quality materials. 100% rag content museum board
and acid free glue and mats, so that the silhouettes will endure to be
passed on to future generations as treasured family heirlooms.
Contemporary colored silhouettes can be made if you send me the
papers of your choice. The "ideas" button, bottom left, will take you
to a page where you can order specialty papers. You may want to
use your silhouettes to personalize clothing, stationary, paperweights,
and dozens of other items. You have my permission to do this for your
own personal use. Sources for the materials needed to create these items yourself are also shown in "ideas",
