There is still time to organize a
fundraiser for Mother's Day or
Father's Day. You need at least
three weeks to send home and
retrieve order forms (schools)
or to advertise and schedule appointments. (other groups). Mail-order fundraisers require
that you mail or email photos.
I must receive them by April 15
to guarantee delivery in time for Mother's Day 2008.
I am also accepting bookings for
Christmas which is a popular
time for my fundraisers.

  My silhouette fundraisers
have been helping groups raise funds by
providing a rare service to their members.
For thirty years, I have been producing
quality silhouettes of children, adults, and
pets using the freehand method of cutting.
Most of my fundraisers have been in R.I.,
CT., NY, MA. as I lived in Rhode Island for
many years. I am currently located in NY
on Staten Island, and will consider traveling
for several hours to conduct a fundraiser.
Silhouette artists are difficult to find as there
are only a few dozen in the United States.
There is still a big demand for this lost art,
particularly by those who have already had
silhouettes done, and know their value.  Many
   would-be customers don't have a silhouettist
located locally, and unfortunately a growing
number of people don't know anything about
this art which was at one time the most popular
form of portraiture, prior to cameras invention.
Mail-order silhouettes now make the art form
available to everyone and ironically the camera
is contributing to rather than displacing the art.
Listed below are some of the types of groups
who have benefitted from my fundraisers.

                      Historical Societies
                      Museums
                      Women's clubs
