A well executed silhouette is a true fine art miniature and
it is a commonly known fact, that they tend to remain hung in
people's homes for decades. Eventually they are passed on
to future generations as treasured family heirlooms.
It is fascinating to watch the process as each silhouette is cut
entirely freehand from paper using only scissors. I spend
about five minutes cutting, and incorporate many fine details
into each one. Although this is entertaining, I do not consider
myself an entertainer, but a serious artist committed for over
30 years to producing quality silhouettes that will pass the test of time. If you are more interested in the artistic merit
of the silhouettes, than the entertainment factor, my services might be for you. Best suited to small gatherings of 24-48 guests, which can be accommplished within a two to four hour time period. Up to two extra sets can be produced along with the originals. These can be used in a scrapbook, made into one large grouping, or given to relatives who would value having a large collection of the entire family.
